- be a LEADER not a DICTATOR
- RECOGNIZE people for their accomplishments individually and publicly
- NEVER chew out team member publicly
- don't allow SLACKERS!!!
- keep lines of COMMUNICATION open
- actively solicit IDEAS
- REWARD people
- use HUMOR but don't make fun of them
- ROTATE some responsibilities
- BAR NEGATIVITY---eliminating irritants
